St. Peter’s in approximately 35 minutes from the Canso Causeway, 3 hours from the Halifax Airport, and approximately 1.5 hours to the Fortress of Louisbourg. In other words, you will not waste a full day driving if you stay in St. Peter’s overnight. You can leave Halifax in the morning and be golfing, shopping, or kayaking around St. Peter’s during the second half of the day.
